Barbara and Richard Emode Apprenticeship Endowment

apprentices

This is an endowment created in 2007 through a generous donation by Richard and Barbara Emode. In keeping with the wishes of the donors, the BRE Apprenticeship Endowment exists to support the training needs of our low income stakeholders. The endowment provides scholarships to people who can demonstrate financial need, to pursue a trade of their choice that can include, but is not limited to: auto mechanic, hair dressing, tailoring, and electrician. The goal of this endowment is to provide an opportunity for the unskilled or under-skilled and unemployed to learn a trade that will lead to financial self-sufficiency.

About the Donors

His wife, Barbara is a Human Resources professional and has extensive experience in delivering apprenticeship training programs. We are grateful for their kind donation and their commitment in providing assistance toward self-sustenance in our community.
