Founder- Micah Heist

Micah is the lead pastor at Calvary Chapel Wenatchee. He originally started this ministry as a podcast during the COVID-19 lockdowns to encourage others in the grace we find in Christ Jesus. 

Through a series of events in his life as a pastor, he was unsure about the counsel people would get if he couldn't help them. That led him, through the conviction to be better equipped, to the Biblical Counseling Academy, in which he graduated in May 2024 and was certified through the IABC as a Biblical Counselor in July 2024. 

The heart of Micah is to see people transformed by the renewing of their minds through Jesus Christ and His word. Micah has had his own life radically transformed by the amazing grace of God, and desires to help others find that same transformation.

Staff

David Talbot

Dave is the worship leader, youth leader, and an elder at Calvary Chapel Wenatchee. Through God's call in his life, Dave decided to join our ministry as a Biblical Counselor. 

Dave's ability to relate with people and teach them through the word of God has been a blessing to many already. He is currently finishing up his school work to graduate from the Biblical Counseling Academy and will soon after be certified as a Biblical Counselor through the IABC. 

​Dave also serves as a chaplain at the Chelan County Jail and has been able to speak to them about life transforming truths through God's word.
